During my recent stay at the Kings Arms Hotel in Kirkby Lonsdale, I was pleasantly surprised by the culinary offerings that awaited us. The hotel's location is ideal, nestled centrally in a charming village and surrounded by various pubs and restaurants. On our first evening, we dined at the hotel's pub, renowned for serving traditional meals alongside a respectable selection of real ales. I opted for the classic steak and ale pie, paired with an extra portion of their triple-fried chips, which were a delightful indulgence. The atmosphere was relaxed, with a warm ambiance that made for a comfortable dining experience. The following night, we ventured to the Snooty Fox, just a short walk away, where I savored their take on traditional fare. Every establishment in the vicinity exuded a welcoming vibe, making them perfect for food enthusiasts like myself. Throughout our stay, the attention to cleanliness and comfort in our cottage was noteworthy. The sleeping arrangements were cozy, accommodating both my husband and our two dogs without issue. I look forward to returning and experiencing more of the local gastronomic delights in this charming locale.
